    • per-platform `notes` field, Sparkle's appcast carries the same text under `<description>` and `sparkle:releaseNotesLink`, and the tray app's "Install update…" confirmation now reads the What's New text aloud before the user commits.

  • Sparkle 2.x compatibility: the appcast now includes

    • `sparkle:releaseNotesLink`, a CDATA `<description>`, and explicit `sparkle:version` / `sparkle:shortVersionString` exactly matching the current Sparkle 2 feed spec. Standard Sparkle clients can point at our appcast without a custom adapter.
